Can't change colour of text block

Hi, 

I have just added a new page to my site and want to change the background colour of the text blocks to match the other pages. I press Edit/pencil on the box I want to change and then go to the Color tab in site style but the only section that it gives me an option to change is the whole page and not the specific box. No little theme box appears for the text box. Im I doing the wrong process here?! Ive even tried editing on my iPhone to see if that made a difference but thats even worse as it won't even allow me to scroll though the list of colour options, it gets stuck!

I had a similar problem when I originally created the site with saving colour changes (I didn't seem to have a problem selecting them though) and I was advised to log out and in and clear the cache which worked. I have tried this again this time but it's not resolved anything.

This type of problem is best dealt with by contact Squarespace Support.

I solved the problem. On the edit section for text block there was a paint can icon. I selected that and it filled the text block the colour I wanted.
