Customize Blog Post Title Font Size With Customized Text

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to customize the size of my blog post titles that already have my brand customized font via custom css. I'm new to all of this code and website building and really need a lot of help. I've read forums, done a squarespace support chat and haven't received any answers that have worked for me. The font size is too large and I would really love to customize it for just one page, even if I have to enter custom code on each individual blog post. I don't know if the codes I have tried to use aren't working because the blog post title code is already inputted but I've tried the following code so far to no avail. I have also included screenshots of everything:

<style>
h1 {
  font-size: 30px;
  color: 095E57;
}
</style>

The code that you are using is HTML, and designed to be added to either a code block or header code injection. If you want to add this to Custom CSS it doesn't need the <style> and </style> tags.

I would guess that what you actually want to do is paste the code as it is into the Blog Item Coed Injection in the Advanced tab of the blog page settings.

Hi Ziggy,

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. I tried copying and pasting the code to the Blog Item Coed Injection and it still didn't work. However, I may be doing it incorrectly. I've included screenshots for reference.

You may need to also define the header like this:

<header>
  <style>
    h1 {
      font-size: 30px;
      color: 095E57;
    }
  </style>
</header>
