kaithershey Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Have a non-profit client that is currently taking donations on their Weebly site through Square in addition to cash/check in person. Once they have received any money whether cash/credit/check, they input into a really cumbersome form, with each person's name/address/amount/if it was a general donation or paying for an event, etc. It is a manual nightmare and I know there has to be a better way, but I'm not sure how yet. Currently the third party they use to input all this info is called DonorPerfect. They use it like QuickBooks with the goal to run reports at the end of each quarter. Majority of donations are online but when Square accepts a donation through Weebly it comes through as "online donation" so they have to match the amounts in their bank account to the people + info submitted on Weebly, and then take all that info over to DonorPerfect to add into the form. It's just so clunky, and part of me wants to just tell them to use QuickBooks but I thought you all might have a better, Squarespace-related, idea! I don't do much non-profit work so feel out of my league. Any thoughts on how to make this process work better with Squarespace tools?
