Dao Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 (edited) G'day guys. I've developed a site for one of our brands and it is coming along nicely. The site will be transactable, but the main reason for the site is to funnel customers to our stockists. I recently spotted a fantastic little addition on the Rode website, when you click 'Buy Now' it comes up with 'select an online stockist'. Describing it in words is kinda difficult, please look at the website link I've shared and you'll see what I mean. I copied this code from the Rode website around the button, not sure if it is concise: }), e._v(" "), e._m(8), e._v(" "), n("div", { staticClass: "rsAddToCartForm rsHidden flex-grow-1", attrs: { "data-rs-submit-button-label": "BUY NOW" } })], 1), e._v(" "), n("p", { staticClass: "my-2 text-center" }, [e._v("OR")]), e._v(" "), n("div", { staticClass: "btn btn-buynow d-block" }, [e._v("Shop from your local retailers something like that goes here")])] : e._e()], 2) is there anything along these lines available as code or a plug-in for Squarespace websites? it is such a perfect resolution for the B2B/B2C crossover I'm dealing with. Thanks for your help guys! Dao Edited April 13, 2023 by Dao Link

I recently spotted a fantastic little addition on the Rode website, when you click 'Buy Now' it comes up with 'select an online stockist'. The 'Buy Now' links modal on the Rode website (screenshot above) is a custom modal that pulls data from a database of stockists in different countries. I'm not aware of any available plugins that do anything like this as it's fairly complex and quite niche, but a software developer could build something similar on Squarespace. The complexity (and hence the cost) will depend on factors like the number of stockists, the number of countries, and so on. An alternative to the modal may be to create a blog post for each supplier, using the location tab for their address. You could then use the Advanced Map Block plugin within the Additional Info section of the product to show stockists for the product, filtering them via tags or categories. Did this help?
