Branding your website

Branding is about transmitting the “who” and the “what” of your brand to your audience. A website is a great place to establish your visual brand. If you’ve created a site on Squarespace, you’ve seen how you can use site color palettes and font packs to unify different elements of your site into a cohesive experience that’s true to your brand.

There are other opportunities to communicate your brand’s identity through your website through your content. For example, if your origin story is a key piece of your business, you may want to dedicate a blog post (or even a page on your website) to tell that story. If transparency is one of your key values, you may want to share where you source your materials from in your product descriptions. The main takeaway here is that all the content you create on your site tells a story. It’s all an opportunity for you to let folks know what your brand is all about.
