Two different kinds of events on my calendar

We have a wedding venue. I have orange dots showing up on the dates of booked weddings, but I need to also have a different color (Im trying gold) for a pending booking that IS NOT booked yet. That way, viewers will call about a date they want if they see it pending. So, I am thinking that there has to be a way to embed a color change into the code based on the existence of a tag or some other designation. My current CSS custom code allows the date to show up in the calendar view (that imports from the events page) when...

.yui3-squarespacecalendar .has-event {background:darkorange!important; border-radius: 50%}

but once it is designated as an event, it goes orange and I cant find a way to have it colored differently.

The password on my trial site is trial. I haven't gotten very far in the site because I wanted to solve this before I decide SS is right for my site.
