Way to make section dividers affect image blocks?

Recommended Posts

I am trying out the new section dividers feature, but found that it doesnt apply to image blocks.

I have images with a flat looking base so it looks fine without dividers or directly above flat lines, but when I try to add a wavy divider for instance, the divider will start a few blocks below the image block, it makes it look awkward and disconnected.

Would anyone have a solution for this? For now I have tried this code below, but I am unsure if it is the correct way to go.

section[data-section-id="6429ab8f542c23222581a71e"] .content-wrapper {
    padding-bottom: 0 !important;
}

.image-block-wrapper { max-height: 100% !important; }

I'm having this same issue. There is the green background appearing around the image along the divider, I want to get rid of the green and have the divider cut across the top of the image. I had to remove the effect for now because it looks really bad to show to clients, but we want to have the divider go across the image like the top image has.

Have to remove it again to show the clients, unfortunately I still haven't figured it out. Here's how its looking before I remove the dividers to give to clients. I am still wishing these dividers could go over and across the photo, like the top video does, and now show the green background.

I think the problem here is that in the top, you're using the image as a SECTION BACKGROUND, whereas the image at the bottom is an image block. If you were to add the image in the bottom section to the SECTION BACKGROUND, then the section dividers should adapt to it.
