Links going to wrong page

I have a website set up so that on the Home page, you can link to the other pages by the page name across the top. I also have links to the two gallery pages from two photos on the Home page. The links across the top work correctly but the photo links go to the generic test pages from the template. I've tried putting the page link, on the photos but it won't let me do it correctly. Any ideas?

How did you set the links that don't work? Did you paste the URL  of the page you want to go to or did you select the page in link settings? A list of pages comes up when you select the gear icon and choose page.

I have two photos on the home page. When you hover over them, the name of the page that I want to link to shows up. When I go to the photo to edit, I can see a place to put the link, but it wont let me put the correct link in. Photo of what I'm seeing. I cannot completely replace the url. Only the part after /home which gets me to a trial Squarespace page.

You are trying to edit the wrong thing. The URL slug is for the project page URL itself, it is not a link to any other page on your site. To do that you need to edit the image in the project gallery. Edit the section, then the gallery, then the image, and look for the word link, edit that, click the gear icon and choose page, then choose from the list that comes up.
