If you display the blog posts using a Summary Block, you'll be able to write some code to display them alphabetically. To avoid writing the code, there's a paid plugin available called Lazy Summaries that will display the posts in your chosen sort order, and a bunch of other things besides. For example, it will allow you to display more than 30 blog posts and set the number of posts to display horizontally
