Customise Testimonial Slideshow

Recommended Posts

You won't be able to achieve this with the testimonial block, it's too simple.

I would suggest designing it using a List section to allow for the horizontal scrolling, but if that's not enough, then designing each testimonial as a section, and using a plugin like this to achieve the scroll:

List sections are auto layout sections, they're found by looking for a section with an (i) in the corner:

To be able to get the design exactly like my screenshot attached with the vertical line below the testimonial text and then the name of the client below that, I can't seem to replicate this using the layout sections in that article. So would you suggest I create each testimonial as a section and then use that plugin to create the slideshow? Will this be an easy thing for my client to add new testimonials moving forward or is it going to be a challenge? Surely there is a plugin or app that would be able to replicate this design?

Thankyou, I will check that out. Do you know if you can add the vertical line into a testimonial slider with Elfsight widget?

I guess we can use CSS pseudo to do this. If you share link to page where you added Elfsight widget, we can check easier
