If you want summary block images to be the same size, I think the images in the blog posts the block pulls content from have to be the same size and aspect ratio. That seems to be the way it works on my site. I can easily tell from the summary block items which blog images have matching sizes.

I see, so does that mean I will have to adjust the size of the photo before uploading images to the blog post?

I apologize for not asking if you wanted your images to be the same size but did not want to crop them to get them there. Any setting in the summary block layout except the wall setting will crop the images to make them the same size. I  use Wall not a Grid layout if the images in a summary block have different aspect ratios, because I don't want any images in the block to be cropped.

The posted solution, however, is right on the money.
