Monitoring progress in an online course

Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out if it's a good idea to move my online courses from Teachable to Squarespace. The biggest deciding factor for me is to figure out if Squarespace offers a solution for monitoring student progress through courses. I need to be able to tell if a student has completed all the course contents so that they can receive a certificate acknowledging they have completed the course.

Additionally, it would be important for me to embed some basic quizzes into my courses to facilitate learning. Squarespace seems to recommend using code blocks to achieve this, but I'm not proficient in coding. 

Any thoughts or ideas? 🙂🙏

I have a similar question about student progress! Will we be able to see which videos / chapters a student has marked as complete? Could we see how much of a video a student has watched?

I have the same question: can I monitor which students have watched individual videos in a lesson?

Seems like all the other platforms include this, and I have made use of it in Podia and Kajabi,. 

Hi @samtenpa with the new Squarespace Courses, students can track their progress visually through the progress bar. However, this analytics data is not visible to the website owner at the moment. I shared this and other learning management limitations in this video guide.

Hi @samtenpa as Rache said, squarespace can't show administrators the progress of course participants yet. It's a bit of a let down that limitation. 
But to your other question, it is very easy to embed a quiz or other interactive applications in a Squarespace course. This YouTube tutorial shows you how to embed a Google form, which you can use for a Quiz. This process is virtually the sae for many other quiz building apps, including Slibo etc.
