Leomuc Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Hey Community, I am working on a draft website to display my video work. Is there a way to get rid of the play icon (while keeping the "progression bar" at the bottom? I'd be super greatful for any hints. The classes changed when Squarespace introduced new video features. You should be able to hide the play button on these videos by adding the following CSS to Design > Custom CSS: .video-player .plyr--full-ui.plyr--video .plyr__control--overlaid { display: none !important; } Did this help? Leomuc Posted March 28, 2023 Author Posted March 28, 2023 @paul2009 Would you also know a way to make the "progress bar" only appear after clicking/playing the video? It's a pity options for the video player Squarespace offers are so limited! Gratful, Leo
fede79 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 That code used to work perfectly for me but it does not anymore. Anyone knows why? Thank you very much.

mcgharios Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) I am happy Squarespace added this option to the "Video" blocks. (Version 7.1) Player Controls > None See image below: Edited January 22 by mcgharios
