DeepDungeon Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Hello, and thanks for taking the time to help. We operate a new comic book store site - which has thousands of products for sale (comic books) which is expanding every day in range. At the moment, the Search Bar function, which is a customers first port of call to find what they are looking for, is extremely hit and miss. Some examples: I just typed in 'Spider-Man' (one of the most common ranges) and it returned 0 results, when I tried again - it returned the full range It applies images to some of the search results and some, it does not [see image] There seems to be no way to add a price or buy button to the search results which come up, or really customise the search results page at all (perhaps we will have to code this in?) The main issue is results not appearing reliably when a search is conducted - if anyone is able to advise how this can be optimized, please let us know! Thanks for your help, Ben - Deep Dungeon
creedon Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 SS's search is broken. If you want reliable search don't depend on SS's search feature. Please see search broken. Find my contributions useful?
