custom gap cause entire section to expand on every change

When using a custom gap for the section width, every object adjustment causes the entire section to enlarge (adds +1 row, and expands pictures/ect)

When using the predefined gap selection, moving the button works as expected.

When using a custom gap, every movement enlarges the entire section.

We had the same issue. We went to support, and they blamed it on custom CSS. After several emails, we were able to convince them that was not it. They said they'd fix it "eventually."

FWIW we've had some luck deleting the page, starting fresh, and changing the gap BEFORE adding any content, but that doesn't always work.

Of course, I hope someone here has a better solution.
