Secure Connection Failed - Firefox ver 111.0

Hello!

When I try to access my squarespace site from Firefox I receive the following error:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.1301pe.com. The response from the OCSP server was corrupted or improperly formed.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_MALFORMED_RESPONSE

This error does not occur from other browsers. I have read online that reinstalling the SSL certificate can solve this. I swapped to the insecure cert, saved, then reloaded the page in firefox only to receive the same error again. I put the SSL cert back on secure and saved and reloaded the page to no success. How do I fix this? Is anyone else having issues accessing their squarespace site with Firefox? Was anything updated recently?

We've started seeing this today (27/03/2023) and it's getting more and more widespread amongst Firefox users.
Squarespace and Mozilla probably need to communicate with each other regarding this error.

We'll log a support case with Squarespace but I doubt it will accomplish much.

Just reporting that we are seeing it here too today (US), hoping this can get resolved!

I've reloaded our site probably 50 times this morning and not seen the error as yet.
It used to be a case of every 3 reloads you'd see 1 failure.

I am seeing this, too 😕 ... I'm going to chat Support and see if they have any info or at least log a request to get it resolved through them

did you or anyone else figure out a solution to this problem?? it started showing up for us yesterday! 

Very frustrating as the issue could be causing us reputation harm and loss of business. If this persists too long, almost think squarespace might need to provide some credit to our account (that is of course if they fix it, if they don't then it might be time to load up webflow or bubble etc.) Really frustrated by this, I want to continue using squarespace and for it to be functional.

your site is loading for me on firefox. what did you do to solve the issue??

My website was working all day on firefox and then out of the blue it stopped and had this same exact msg! My partner tried on his laptop and had the same thing happen - but it works on all other browsers.

This post was made in March and the problem still exists today in June? That's not good enough! How can this issue be remedied? It's imperative that my website works in the next few days.

This is a browser problem not an SS problem. I just visited your site with Firefox (v114 and several other older versions) / macOS.

I have now run in this issue on my website and wondering if anyone has found any fixes to this?  Website is www.sealersales.com

i had spent quite a bit of time doing back and forth with squarespace about this when we experienced it. they were adamant that it was problem on Mozilla's end. 

In any case, the issue seemed to resolve itself after a few days...not ideal
