Shop Category Accordion

My shop pages have categories set up but when you click on the parent category, it takes you to a new page. Instead of this, I would love it if the parent category could simply drop-down as an accordion to reveal all the sub-categories. Can anyone help me with this?

It looks like this is not possible. You will need to use 3rd party plugin to achieve these.

You can also consider creating a blank page, then add Archive Block on Left - Summary Block on right (use Summary to pull products from Shop Page)
