Having trouble getting google tag manager to verify my website

Hi. First time here.

I am getting an error message fromGoogle on both of my SP sites. They aren't verifying. Can anyone help me?

On one site, I am trying to set up my Google Store. The other site, I'm simply trying to verify the site so I can apply for a Google Ad grant.

I am getting a server timeout error.

Where did you add the code? Can you take a screenshot?

I am having the same issue here. 

I posted the code into the advanved> Code injection> Header and footer part.

When i try to connect, everything is fine. ( i also downloaded google tag assistant) 

But when i try and check my container loaded there is no fired tag. (tried to speak to customer support but nothing)

As GTM is an essential tool for tracking user activity and managing marketing tags. Many Squarespace users have successfully implemented GTM on their sites, and I am confident that there must be a way to resolve this issue.

If there is any way i could get the help that would be amazing. I am sure I am not the only one.

Also having a similar issue (timeout) when trying to inject GTM into the header and footer under the code injection settings. Curious how I can get GTM to work with my site, especially as I am starting to use AdSense.
