Very frustrated trying to set up my website

I wanted to change the appearance of my site and started looking for the "new template" button only to discover that its not an option ....... I have now spent countless hours trying to "design" a new site but the most basic actions seems impossible .... one example is just trying to change the text size, that has taken me 2 hours of trying and it's still not working ..... I know there are people rolling their eyes now thinking I'm an idiot for not being able to do this but unfortunately we don't all have the IT knowledge or database to rely on ....... I'm at the point of giving up with Squarespace and moving over to another platform .... before I do this ..... is there anywhere I can go, or do, to change the look of my site without having to do a course in website building?

I hear you. Having same issue. I can’t increase , move , font. I want to throw this entire website builder in the trash. I am frustrated also. I’m not an idiot. I work on complicated Protools recording everyday . This web builder is not intuitive or easy to use. Hate it 

I have literally given up on squarespace ... between the design problems and paypal payments problem and the lack of any help from squarespace I moved over to Shopify and its been a million times better.
