How do I edit this footer block?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Footer. It's a blank section so I can put whatever I like in there. I put 2 social links in the footer at the bottom right, as you can see it here... I am not sure how the screenshots will show up in this forum. The first screenshot (footer-before-edit.png) shows the 2 social icons in the footer. It is using the "Social Links" block.

I want to adjust the social links' position and design. So I start editing the footer and hover over the social links to edit them (footer-during-edit.png) and I get the section popup RIGHT ABOVE THE LINKS AND THERE'S NO WAY TO MOVE THE POPUP!!! Result: I cannot get to the social links.

I tried to shrink the browser window but that didn't help. The browser window is at the full width of my laptop screen. Either way, the popup is in the way and I can't grab the social links.

No custom code. Sorry, I can't share the URL at this point.

But I found a "solution". I had to add another block to the footer, click on that block, and then I was able to click on the icons.

This behavior is somewhat of a "bug" - I'd think. Maybe that little section editor popup should be moveable.
