I need help removing a leftover ownership token from my site

Recommended Posts

Hi, I had someone help me with some SEO and set up to Google Console. I deleted all his permissions on my Squarespace site, and removed him as a user on Google Console, but it says I still have a leftover ownership token. When I click it says I have to remove the HTML file from my site but I have no idea where it is, can someone help?

@safulgencio Also check for the profile under Squarespace Connected Accounts. In GSC copy the HTML file info and send to SS Support for manual removal. At one point SS had automated removing the token, but for now they are back to manual removal. More here: https://www.collaborada.com/blog/squarespace-google-search-console

Note, you might need to verify ownership again: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9008080?hl=en
