safulgencio
Hi, I had someone help me with some SEO and set up to Google Console. I deleted all his permissions on my Squarespace site, and removed him as a user on Google Console, but it says I still have a leftover ownership token. When I click it says I have to remove the HTML file from my site but I have no idea where it is, can someone help? Link to comment
Stanelywebner
Depending on the type of site you have, this may involve changing the token in the database, resetting the token in the CMS, or manually deleting the token from the source code. You better consult a seo expert🙂! Link to comment
Collaborada
@safulgencio Also check for the profile under Squarespace Connected Accounts. In GSC copy the HTML file info and send to SS Support for manual removal. At one point SS had automated removing the token, but for now they are back to manual removal.
