Updating block to the right of a column with custom code has weird formatting

Hello! The block on the left with job openings was created with custom code by an agency, and it has been requested that I add more images to the column on the right to balance it out. However, what is shown in the preview is totally different than what comes out when I save- the formatting seems almost random except that I think it's trying to space each item out to fit the length of the column on the left side. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to have some control over adding items to the right side?
