Squarespace and Action Network

I am setting up a website for a community initiative called Electrify Boroondara which will be similar in it's aims to Electrify 2515. We will need to link Squarespace with Action Network for events, donations and to collect people's information. Does anyone have experience/recommendations of how best to link Squarespace to Action Network? E.g has anyone used Zapier for this?  Interested to hear how people have used Squarespace and Actionnetwork and how this works in practice.
