How do I cancel a subscription for a customer?

Customers can cancel their subscriptions at any time by logging on to their account. However, if you need to do this on their behalf, you can do this from the Profiles panel.

  1. Within the Profiles panel, locate the customer.
  2. In the panel that opens on the right, click Recurring to see their subscriptions.
  3. Click the name of the subscription. A list of their payments will appear. 
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the payments and click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.

I tried this but it says they can't;

The prompt says: 

"This user has active memberships or product subscriptions. To delete their customer account, first cancel their memberships or subscriptions"

However, I have no memberships or subscriptions.  Any help?

When something isn't working as expected, please contact Squarespace Customer Care directly. They'll be able to check the data that the forum community cannot see.

The link is the correct link to their support contact page. After you've answered a couple of questions, you should see options to chat online (at certain times) or open a ticket.
