PBS-MattCastle
I'm looking for a developer who can help add videos hosted on Wirewax, which is now a part of Vimeo... I understand videos are normally added using an Embed Block. As Wirewax isn't a directly supported third party video provider, it's not functioning correctly when using a Video Block. I've been advised it may help to embed code for the video and add it to the "Code Snippet" option within the Embed Block settings, but this may need some custom coding, here is a link to the video, thankful for any help, advise or assistance in advance. https://embed.wirewax.com/8133320/ Edited March 1 by PBS-MattCastle Added tags. derricksrandomviews
I don't think you can easily embed this like a Vimeo or youtube video. I would put up an image block with a still image shot of the video, and link the image to the actual video which plays full screen. There's an embedding tool that you can use to set the parameters you require (see below) and you can then paste the code directly into a Code Block. For example, I pasted the HTML below into a Code Block to test it. Note that the video won't play well if you are logged on and editing your website, so you'll want to view the website in a separate incognito or private browser window to test it. <div style="position: relative; width: 100%; height: 0; padding-bottom: 56.25%"><iframe style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0;" width="100%" height="100%" src="https://embedder.wirewax.com/8133320/?autoStart=true" frameborder="0" scrolling="yes" allowfullscreen></iframe></div> Did this help?
