Re-release old blog posts?

Hi, 

I am launching a new website for a client. She has about 13 blog posts back from 2014 and 2015. I thought it might be a good idea to "re-release" them each month, in order to keep her website active for Google's crawling (she doesn't want to hire me for extensive SEO at this time).

Does this seem wise, or is there some disadvantage that I'm unaware of?

Hi @SP123 - as long as the blogs are up-to-date, have no broken links and provide value to readers, then there's no reason why you shouldn't really!
