Question about using code

My site is not live yet.  I have created sites with code before but have not used Squarespace.  I don't like the width of the header/footers on the templates.  Is this something that can be changed with code?

Yes, you can change the header and footer width. 

The header can be changed between full width and inset (which matches the header contents to the same width as the content)

The footer can be adjusted narrower by using the grid, or full width with a little CSS:

I'm rebuilding my site.

My NEW Maid in JC site is not live yet. 

I've created a QUOTE form on the landing page and would like to split into 2 columns.

Column 1 will end after PHONE NUMBER.
