Remove featured image of product once the gallery is opened to the product page

I would like to remove the featured image of the product page as it is where I would like to add my product badge e.g. NEW which I have not been able to do (add custom overlay of text) in my Squarespace website. 

Have a look at my url and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have tried:

.ProductItem-gallery-slides-item-image>div:nth-child(1) {
    display: none !important;
 }
  </style>

With no success. I am a junior developer so the code makes sense.

I need help either:

A. Removing the featured image which will have text NEW photoshopped on it once the product is opened to reveal a gallery, 

OR

B. Apply a text/png overlay in the corner with a badge of an image that says NEW. And another option is a special badge that has our logo to indicate this product is part of our brand's range.

Yes! How can I do that? Thank you! As well as a badge with our logo showing that this is a custom product.
