Help a lady out! How do I remove the cart from my home page?

Hi, 

I am just a lowly acupuncturist and need help. I put my Squarespace store in the unlinked pages because I'm not ready to use it just yet (I have a product page for now and people can order through email). But the cart is still on my header and I don't know how to make it go away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you so much, but when I hover over the cart there is no edit button and nothing at the top says header. There is edit navigation, edit social, edit title, but not header

When you go into edit mode, and bring your cursor over the top area of your page , a box should appear that says "EDIT SITE HEADER". Do you get that far?

I'm wondering if your site is v7.0? There are differences in how editing the header works between v7.0 and v7.1.
