Newsletter Sign Up at Check Out - ISSUE

In our checkout page, we'd like to ensure that the "Select checkbox by default" is automatically set up on our checkout page but Squarespace will not allow me to save the change. I have attached a screen shot showing the selection we are making but there is a "Try Again" message every time. Any thoughts on what's going on?

If this isn't working as expected, please contact Squarespace Customer Care directly as they can assist with technical issues. That said, I would generally recommend against checking this box by default as it is not permitted in many countries and territories. Also, the subscribe option won't display if customers check out with Apple Pay.
