how to apply a trial website to a Squarespace domain?

I have bought a Squarespace domain, set up an account and created a free trial site.   Now I would like to put the trial site onto my domain.  Current tutorials I can find apply to transferring third party site to SS,  SS to other domains, pretty much everything except what I need to know.   Sure it's right in front of me, but if someone could help me sort this out, I'd be grateful.   Thanks.

@Noori You cannot connect a Squarespace domain to a trial website. You must pay for a website billing plan before you can connect the domain to it.
