RuthE
I have recently launched a second website which is under a business name. However, when I go to respond to comments, rather than having the business name (Voice in the Dark), it comes up with my personal name. I have changed the author of each blog to Voice in the Dark, so I am not sure why my name is used to comment. Any clues on how I can change this? Thanks Link to comment
Ziggy
The name that appears when you comment is associated with your main Squarespace account, you can adjust that if you go to https://account.squarespace.com and click on account settings in the top right corner. RuthE
Thanks for your response - so that would change it on both websites and make that name the owner of both websites, by my understanding? Link to comment

RuthE
Ok...what I was actually wanting was to have it different on each site. I am guessing that is not possible? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Only with two main SS accounts. You could create a second one. Invite that account to become an admin of the business site this needs an email address for the second account. Once done that account has the same privileges as the original one. This does not change payment info for any site. Either account can reply to comments but the reply name will follow the account name. RuthE
Thanks @derricksrandomviews - I think I understand what you are saying and will give it a try. Not sure how to create a second account, though... Edited March 8, 2023 by RuthE Link to comment
Solution derricksrandomviews Posted March 8, 2023 Solution Share Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) The easiest way is to go into the settings of your business website, go to permissions, then invite a contributor, fill out the form, and make sure you send the invite to your business name with a unique email address and all that. Toggle the admin button on and then send it. When you respond to the mail then you create your second sign-on and name. That name will be the one that responds to comments.
