Two domains, one account

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this is in the wrong spot on the forum, but I don't see a better location.

I've had a website on Squarespace (SS) for 10 years.  Just one website.  Domain via GoDaddy.

Today, I bought a new Domain via GoDaddy, and added it to SS.  I signed up for and paid for the "Commerce Basic" subscription.  That's all done.

When I go to my main SS page, and click on "domains", I see both sites there.  But when I click on the new domain and website, it actually launches the old website.

(Also.....  What happened to SS customer support??????  I used to be able to actually send an email in, and a real human would reply with great help.  Now?   There's no way to reach a human???)

The two sites are:
1. (Original) - masconleather.com

2. (new) - fatbottomstudio.com

Thanks

If you go to your account dashboard you should see both sites. If the new domain is connected to the wrong site:

  1. Open the old site and navigate to the Domains panel in Settings > Domains.
  2. Click the domain you'd like to move and scroll down until you see the 'Move domain to another site' button.
  3. Click this button.
  4. Choose the new site.
  5. Click Confirm.

This may happen immediately or take up to 72 hours.
