how to insert an icon into a button without loosing the link function

hello to all!!!

at first... I`m new in html  so please be patient on me.

I tried to make an isotope-filter-gallery ... by hovering the thumbnails 3 icons become visible, which link to lightboxes.

The trouble I have is:

The info icon (html-code-symbol embedded into a button)  isn´t shown on apple devices or mobile... 😞

for PCs it works and the "text-lightbox" is also popping up by clicking the icon!!!

The other icons are embedded "font-awesome-icons" into Anchor. That works fine!!!

Is there an alternative to html-code-icons - which are working?

Or does the button cause that problem?

To figure out that problem I tried a lot of different ways:

2nd try:

the emplemented html-code into a button works (but not compatible with mobile and apple > what is the alternative?)

4th try:

svg as img embedded into a button (doesn´t work - just a tiny area in the left upper corner opens the light-box)

do you habe any advice?
