Pramoda
Hello, I have purchased a domain on GoDaddy and now hosting it on Squarespace with ecommerce basic package. Do I need o buy SSL from GoDaddy? Or will this be taken care by Squarespace? Thanks! Link to comment

Squarespace provide an SSL certificate for the website for free. You don't need to buy one for the website. Did this help? Kristina15
I'm in a similar situation. I bought a Domain via GoDaddy and linked it to my squarespace account, but I can't seem to use the free SSL Certificate via Squarespace. It's just saying unavailable as it's trying to look for it at GoDaddy. How can I resolve this? I don't want to pay $400 at GoDaddy if I can get it for free with Sqaurespace. I'm finding Squarespace chat function difficult to get a response. Link to comment

Are the DNS entries correct for your domain? The CNAME and A records will need to be correct before the SSL will be issued. How long ago did you configure them? It can take 24-72 hours.
