whereisscott
Hi all, I'll be redesigning a client's Squarespace site soon and she has asked if it's possible to create a custom cost calculator for the type of work she does in domestic violence prevention. The calculator would take three simple pieces of data (total # of employees, % of female employees, and average hourly wage) and plugged them in to create a potential cost based on national rates of domestic violence victimization. Here is a link to a pdf that essentially shows what this would look like: https://www.standing-firm.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/PV_Cost_Calculator-150_example_2017.pdf I'm curious if there is anyone who would be able to help me code this or even code this themselves? This is very much out of my league, but it's something important to the client. Thanks! Link to comment

whereisscott
@tuanphanNo, I believe she would want all of the calculations that are listed on the PDF for victimization, medical costs, mental health costs, and productivity costs. There is some hard data in the background, of course, which my client would need to provide. Just wondering what the next steps might be - if I could hire someone or if there is a simple builder somewhere where I could build this calculator and then it would provide me code to embed? What are your thoughts? Edited February 21 by whereisscott Link to comment
