Hi! How do I move my main navigation on the home page to be below as well?

How do I get my site to have the navigation options as https://pulitzerarts.org/
I want the same kind of navigation and placement as the one shown under their header on my site (Art, Events, Campus, About, Visit, Shop.

I found out I could just link the text to certain pages but I realized an underline stays! I googled the custom code but when i looked at the design page to put custom CSS it but saw theres already a lot of code there so I have no idea where to paste it (scared I will ruin the site).

You can paste at top of CSS box

(remember to save a copy of all code somewhere, just for backup)

Hi, would you happen to know how a button can be pressed and open a pop up that shows a page but doesn't navigate away? 
For example like on https://www.pacegallery.com/exhibitions/david-hockney-20-flowers-and-some-bigger-pictures/
There is a section that says featured works and each one has a learn more button. When you click it it just pops up more info on the painting and doesn't open another page. Thanks!
