Email Subscription on password page

Hi I'm currently working on my website and was wondering if there is a way to add an email subscription box to my password protected site while I currently work on it so my customers can sign up for my news letter and etc. ?

No, not if you have a password protected website. That secure page is just that secure, and doesn't allow connection to the rest of your website which precludes having a newsletter block.

How important is the security? Could you have a landing page with no header or footer, and have all of your pages disabled (or individually pw protected) whilst you work on them? That way you could add any content you want to a temporary landing page, and not show the design or pages as you build.
