How can I add a custom font to squarespace?

Question

I have been researching but nothing has worked for me, maybe because I need things explained a bit more detailed seen as I am not familiar with the whole coding and so forth. I have added my font file to the style editor but when instructions said to add a certain code to the page file, the code showed up on my page. I copied it as it was written...Here is what I have tried:

On my blog I've written a [tutorial How to install custom fonts to Squarespace][1].

If you've installed the fonts but they're still not working make sure to replace http:// with just //. This is the most common cause of errors.

Many people have asked me to install custom fonts for their sites and I've done it tens of times. So I also install fonts for clients as a service. If you're uncomfortable tinkering with custom CSS get in touch via my website.

I hope this helps!

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.,►►►➨➨➨➨➨➨ http://www.netjoin10.com

hi.this worked for me today to upload a Myfonts custom font: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4vX5R63e74

in my Hyde template, there's no code injection area as he shows in the video. but i found it in the pages area. i inserted the code like explained in "Pages" => "yourpagename" => customize =>"advanced".

and in the end of the video he shows the css, which you must insert. instead of the * i use h3 because i want the headline 3 to show up with my new custom font.

hope that helps!

I've updated the tutorial to include a few examples:

Everything:

*{
 font-family: 'YOUR-FONT-NAME-HERE';
}

Headings:

h1, h2, h3{
 font-family: 'YOUR-FONT-NAME-HERE' !important;
}

Body text and paragraphs:

body, p {
 font-family: 'YOUR-FONT-NAME-HERE'  !important;
}

Use chrome devtools or google for others. I can also give one-on-one help but of course cannot provide that for free.

Thanks for mentioning it! I had moved the url. It's now fixed.
