Dylan99 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Hello, all of the content on my homepage has somehow been deleted. I contacted support and they said it's an "index page." https://www.spectrumdesigns.org/ Is there a way to unindex a page? I found one element of the page saved on it's own unlinked page. I really need to fix this asap, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
creedon Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 An Index page is a page type that holds other pages. It's a way to build up a single page from other pages. It sounds like somehow your pages within the Index page got moved out from under it. To get the page going again you need to move the individual pages back under the Index page. You found one. Move it under the Index page which I assume is your home page. If you can't find the other pages. Look in the trash to see if they were trashed by accident and restore them. Let us know how it goes. catdip Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Hello. I lost 2 pages today. My homepage and my about page. I found the About page in the trash, restored it, but it doesn't show up. When I click on it I get the index page. Same as the homepage, shows as an index page, but did not show up in the trash. Not sure what you mean by moving the pages under the index page???? Help would be so appreciated, Thank you, Catherine
catdip Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Ok fixed myself....found them in a strange place...weird.

If you are on v7.1 then it won't apply. Although you can use Folder pages in v7.1 to organize pages. Also a note that I've seen some recent posts of pages just randomly moving around in site, requiring you to move them back to where they were. This appears to be an SS backend issue. deeaski Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I am having a similar problem. I was given admin access to add a link to another web site (from one of the Pages). I didn't change any thing else. I did check out the pages and styles but never changed anything and never clicked Save. Now the Home Page text was replaced with what I’m guessing is dummy text (references a legal business site). All the Pages are fine…it’s just the Home Page that has changed. What could I have done and how do I fix it?
swirly Posted February 14 Posted February 14 my entire site is missing, everything I set up (before it goes live) is missing. The trash and my account has no record of my log in history either. The chat support can't help. What else can I do to find my content?
derricksrandomviews Posted February 14 Posted February 14 You need to post the site address if possible, makes it a lot easier to help.
Juliasakaberg Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hi, I came across a problem. One of my pages on my site had some content and now it is all gone. I have not touched this page or deleted anything. Has anyone had this problem before and is there a way I can get this back without redoing it?

Please post the URL for a page on your site where we can see your issue. For us to see the URL you need to include the link in the content of your post. The URL field the forum software provides is not shown to us. A link to the backend of the your site won’t work for us, i.e. a URL that contains /config/. Please set up a site-wide password, if your site is not public and you've not already done so. Post the password here. Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site. Please read the site-wide password and how to share a link documentation to understand how they work. You may find How to post a forum question post useful. We can then take a look at your issue. Find my contributions useful? Juliasakaberg Posted March 18 Posted March 18 https://www.proguardsecurityservices.com/resources Here is the link. I can see the old articles I have posted before, but when I click on them it says we can not find this page.

It appears to me that your Blog page has become corrupted. There is nothing you or we can do to fix this issue. Only SS can address this issue, if I'm correct in my diagnosis, you will have to Contact Customer Support. One obvious sign that this has happened is if the Blog page icon has changed from a calligraphy (old style pen) icon to some other icon. Let us know how it goes.
