Facebook Messenger Plugin not working!

Installed the code for Facebook messenger into the footer code injection after configuring in Meta. 

The Facebook messenger plugin does not appear to work.. any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. Followed all the instructions and nada on the backend or the live site.

Also having the same issue... configured, whitelisted & published in Meta, pasted the code into Footer section of Code Injection settings. Still not working.

Is there a Squarespace setting which needs to be changed?

Does anyone know why the facebook messenger plug in code is not working on squarespace templates at the moment. I spoke to squarespace and they said they have changed or made improvements to the template my site uses, and they can't help because "terms and conditions" state that custom code is my issue not theirs

Mine used to work and now its not working at all. Squarespace appear to have changed how their templates work and hide behind T&C's so to not need to even try and help you
