amobley1108
I have a blog page on my website which I wish to only make available to certain people. I have hidden the page from SEO and password protected it. My question, is it possible to pass the password in the URL that I provide people so that they do not have to type it in? The password is "66qes6jFayof" if you want to play around with it. Edited February 1 by amobley1108 Link to comment
paul2009
If there's a sitewide password, you can use a URL Query. Edited February 2 by paul2009 About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. The URL query can only be used with sitewide passwords, not page-specific passwords like this one, as they must be entered manually. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. dougjaeger
@paul2009 I saw that code on your site! Perfect for reviews of a site before it launches.. I really wished it could work on the page-level password, for commerce or portfolio sections, do you think that is a feature that Squarespace could introduce in the future? It would be really helpful for sharing portfolios that can't be shared publicly with potential clients. Link to comment

I wish this was possible too. I don't imagine this will be a priority for Squarespace, but I do recommend that you raise this as a feature request, explaining why this would be helpful to Circle members. You can do this via Squarespace Customer Care using a support ticket. If you experience any difficulties contacting Squarespace, please read how to contact Squarespace. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs.
