Mwith Posted January 31 Share Posted January 31 Hello In the store I'm setting up, I only have one item and I've chosen it to be a service. This is ment to be for former customers who will be offered an opportunity to buy their imagefiles, so I do not need shipping. The problem I have is that when the customer orders, the order has a pending status, and if I change it to fulfilled it'll send a fullfilled confirmation to the customer with shipping and tracking information which is not needed beacause of the nature of the product I sell. I've chosen it to be a service I sell to get around this, but it apparently still isn't enough. Any suggestions? Or do I just leave the orders in pending status? Regards Michael Link to comment

Customers usually appreciate receiving the "order fulfilled" notification, even if there isn't a physical product being shipped. The text in the notification can be changed for service products and should not include any shipping or tracking information. If you'd prefer not to send an "order fulfilled" notification, you can uncheck the option (on an individual order basis) when changing the status of the order to "fulfilled". Did this help?
