Recommended Posts

Im hoping someone can help me, I am having trouble with my LTK shop on my website, its not loading ( however loads if you refresh the webpage twice! ) under the section " shop my outfits on LTK " there should be a section of images that links to my LTK page. You upload the LTK code from the LTK platform. This is the code that I uploaded.

<div id="ltkwidget-version-two467771039" data-appid="467771039" class="ltkwidget-version-two"><script>var rsLTKLoadApp="0",rsLTKPassedAppID="467771039";</script><script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets-static.rewardstyle.com/widgets2_0/client/pub/ltkwidget/ltkwidget.js"></script><div widget-dashboard-settings="" data-appid="467771039" data-userid="285581" data-rows="10" data-cols="3" data-showframe="false" data-padding="4" data-profileid="9542b18a-6a86-11e8-9fed-0242ac110002"><div class="rs-ltkwidget-container"><div ui-view=""></div></div></div><noscript>This content requires JavaScript to be enabled, and the site or browser may be disabling it. I'm thinking the curse of Ajax Loading strikes again! Try, temporarily, turning off Ajax Loading to see if the problem goes away.

Please note that turning off Ajax Loading will effect the performance of your site. Ajax Loading is designed to increase the loading speed of your site after it first loads.

If the problem goes away then it is likely the code has not been written to be Ajax compatible. It would need to be rewritten to be Ajax compatible, assuming it it even possible.

You have to decide whether the custom code you are trying to use is worth turning off Ajax Loading. Or, it is worth trying to get an Ajax compatible version of the code.

paul2009 has a great article on the ins and outs of Ajax Loading. Please see Why does Squarespace code only work on refresh?

Wow thank you so much for this link. I have very little knowledge about code or Squarespace if I’m honest. So if I take Ajax off my site, my shop widget will work but my website will load a lot slower? I think I get the just of it. I am now contemplating what’s best?
