Anyway to avoid cropping thumbnail image?

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the video gallery to show the full thumbnail. Currently the gallery crops the custom thumbnail images, which were created at 16:9.

I attached a screenshot to illustrate what I mean.

I believe that this ratio is automatic, are all of the video thumbnails a 16:9 ratio?
