Gallery Slideshow to expand to Lightbox

Hello!

Is there any way to have a gallery slideshow when clicked expand to a lightbox format where the images "take over" the screen and then can be scrolled via left or right toggle arrows?

I am attempting to put several slideshow gallery blocks side-by-side each featuring one project, and within each gallery several other images of the project. Because this grid format would make the initial images small, the lightbox feature would be ideal.

You wouldn't be able to accomplish this natively. You'll want to look into a third-party plugin or custom Javascript.
