Background gallery image.

Hello there,

Having a hard time adding a background image to my website. I attached screenshot for better understanding. I want to add another image underneath the gallery or may be add blue background color to avoid this awkward white space. 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had a code that would make the "thanks to our sponsors" image fit from side to side without margins but it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Plus I still want to know if I can add background color/image where gallery is. I tried to research it but nothing seemed to come up.

Other question - I have a template from squarespace 7.0 and all of the tutorials I find are for the next version and it seems like the new version is more advanced and easy to use. Do you think it makes sense to move website to thew version and newer template? 

your  image not use as Background in section. you just add image block .

In this version/template I can't do it.

No, I am still struggling with seting a full bleed image on the website. I tried this, nut it doesnt seem to be working :

Add to Design > Custom CSS

Unfortunately, this code didn't change anything.
