Pickup only option for checkout of a product why is this STILL not available??

I find squarespace to be so frustrating. It seems to lack the most basic things for commerce. I am trying to set up my product, fresh flowers, on commerce and I chose physical product, because that is what it is, and I selected "pickup" option because my flowers are only for pickup not shipping. Yet the checkout form asks the customer for shipping details. Why am I unable to remove the shipping form when pickup option is selected? Many others have complained about this lack of feature and Squarespace has done nothing to resolve it.

It seems like the only way to make them change things is to move to shopify
