Jaco Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 Hi, Why does the following tag {orderId} inject the Order Number and not the Order ID, on the Order Confirmation Page? The Order Number is of no use against the Orders API which requires the Order ID. How can I inject the Order ID on the Order Confirmation Page? I require this to kick of an external service which retrieves the Order Details through the Orders API to process the order. ORDER CONFIRMATION PAGE Enter code that will be injected into the footer of the order confirmation page after checkout. If you'd like to pass the Order ID, subtotal, grand total, or customer email to a third party service, use the tags below in your code: {orderId}: The order number of the confirmed order Link to comment

Although the {orderId} tag unhelpfully mentions 'Id' it is actually designed to show the order number, not the 'ID'.
