Squarespace sites do not load on Safari unless I use a Private window

This is an on and off issue, but has been mostly on in the last few days I've tried Squarespace. No matter what I try (clearing cache, reloading, restarting my Mac) the Squarespace editor and even others' Squarespace sites will not finish loading. Like the site will have the same load status for hours, with just a blank page.

There is no issue once I bring the link over to a private window though. And I don't have this issue with any other website I've been visiting. Safari is updated, and I have a fairly recent Mac. I don't know what's causing this but it's making using Squarespace very inconvenient. Does anyone know the solution/cause of this? 

That's a real problem if you have a sizable number of people visiting your site with Safari browsers. Does Squarespace have any workaround for this? 

Also is having an ad blocker a default setting for Safari Browsers?

Are you seeing this problem? I use a mixture of Safari and Chrome and I haven't come across it.
